Karma

On June 25th, 1989, the hottest, realist & the truest femcee around .. better known as KARMA was born. Growing up, she was always known for making music with the closest object she could find, but who would have known that one day she would be one of the hottest things out? In elementary school, she started writing poetry & stories to express herself, and really was only interested in the music she heard her parents & grandparents listen to (allthough that little boy band fad kinda took over). In the beginning of middle school, she happened to hear the works of Nasir Jones aka Nas & it was an instant infatuation (not with him, but the style of music he was making) Hip Hop.
Her Grandmother noticed the genre of music that she was always blasting in her room, or carrying around with her & came to her with the idea that maybe she should take some of the things she writes & make songs just like the ones she was listening to. It was a scary idea at the time, but agreeing with the idea and pursuing it was a life changing decision. At the time, Karma had a best friend, Mesha B., who also shared the same love for music as her. So they decided that they would pursue this dream together.
From all of the trials and tribulations that the two made through, they became two great people, and two great artists. Karma is now taking over the rap game one step at a time with her soulful vibes & real scriptures & hoping one day that someone will recognize her, not for her skin color, but for the real hip-hop music that she makes. The reason for Karma's MCing may not be on earth, but she will always be remembered in a better place.
