Mrs.CAC aka Twee from tha D

About Me

I Thought I Told You That she Won't Stop!!!

Mrs. Cac a.k.a. Twee from tha “D” hails from the Mile High City, Denver, CO. Born and raised in “D” Town this young lady has consistently been an activist in the performing arts arena.

Writing has always been a true passion of Mrs. Cac as she has always been an avid writer, which led her to win numerous essay contests. She was one of the youngest writers of the high school newspaper staff as a freshman and then worked her way up to being the editor in chief of the yearbook her senior year. Her remarkable writing skills made her the winner of countless scholarships to attend college. She chose to attend Colorado State University and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Speech Communication with a minor in English. Armed with a real estate license at the age of 18 Mrs. Cac is the true definition of brains and beauty, a woman to be seen and heard true to her word a real Hip Hop nerd.

On the entertainment scene Mrs. Cac danced, modeled, acted, and hosted a variety of coordinated functions throughout Colorado. Married to the late, great, Colfax CAC, Twee was an eyewitness to rap history when her husband and fellow Colorado rap artist Innerstate Ike were bombarded with bullets at a stop light in downtown Denver. Innerstate Ike suffered devastating injuries while CAC succumbed to his a few days later. Though always involved in the MOB Movement, she was more of a silent supporter who served as the background to CAC's foreground. After the passing of her husband, Mrs. Cac then picked up the pieces and decided to never let her husband's memory die and continued to promote CAC's music. You can find her going back and forth from Denver to various locations such as California, Atlanta, GA, to Texas.

She has arrived and has come through the fire as pure as Twee, the name given by her late brother Elisha. She has decided to continue the legacy that her husband started not only through promotion but also by picking up the microphone and telling her story. Propaganda is the name of her first project, and is described by Twee as a “doctrine of truth for the Hip Hop youth”. Licensed to sell real-estate at 18, a mother at 20, a college graduate by 21, married at 21, and a tragically widowed at 24, Twee has a lot to offer the women of the world today as they can relate to her struggles and her joy. One of those joys being her son Darrius who is her number one road dawg and fan as he bobs his head to both his father's and mother's music.

On August 7 th , 2007 Twee invited the world to celebrate her Supa Dupa Sweet 26 and allowed attendees to have a sneak peek at her upcoming album Propaganda, which is a mixtape compilation that features unreleased CAC tracks as well as other artists such as: Innerstate Ike, Murder Mansin, Rukus, Ms. Cash, Mr. Midas, DJ K-Tone, and many more of the Mile High's favorite rappers. The event was a success, and introduced Mrs. CAC's ambition and determination to establish herself in the Hip-Hop arena. Mrs. Cac has a lot on her mind and she's not afraid to let it out. Ghostwriting, designing and branding a clothing line, acting and modeling are also among the media ventures Twee plans to maneuver.

Musically she has been influenced and inspired by Josephine Baker, Janet and Michael Jackson as well as the rest of the Jackson family. The pioneers of female hip hop also had their fair share in creating the vision Mrs. CAC has for herself. Female rappers like Yo-Yo, Monie Love, MC Lyte, Queen Latifah, Salt n Pepa to the new school Boss‘ such as Da Brat, Lil Kim, Foxy Brown, Left Eye and without a doubt TLC as a super-girl group all fed Mrs. CAC the necessary fuel to make her dream a reality. When asked who her all time favorite rappers are, her response would be: 2Pac, CAC, NWA, Bone Thugs N Harmony, Notorious BIG, E40, Snoop Dogg, The Game, C-Bo, Keek the Sneak, Jacka, 2 Short and Kanye West.

You can also hear the influence of Denver's local mob movement from the slang in her speech to the way the way she rocks beats, consistently maintaining the receipe of the Denver sound which is; a little west coast, most definitely a lot of mid-west, with a touch of every other region, and a dash of funk and Soul. Local inspirations include: MNLD, Clicc Dangerous, Nyke Loc, and Murder Mansin. Recent musical influences include Remy Ma, Floetry, Aaliyah, Beyonce, Monica, and Fantasia for that raw unapologetic female perspective, to the hot male heavy hitters such as Young Buck, Lloyd Banks, Lil Scrappy, Bow Wow, Usher, Lil Jon and Ludacris. These ingredients culminate an eclectic sound genre bending with traces of broadway musicals, Pop, Rock, Rap, Jazz, Neo soul, and even country to shape Twee's outlook and output of music.

Do not sleep on the Mob Mrs. She is coming hard and coming with avengence ready to take on the industry like a typhoon!
