the nature of creativity, I don't actually DO anything creative, just think about it; reading; buying things; making friends or doing fun things with the ones I already know and love; antique umbrellas
cool old people; also, the Maharishi, Donovan and the Beatles all at the same time in a temple in India, preferably with lemonade.
Albums I've purchased lately: Ratatat, Modest Mouse, Konono No. 1, Shins, Arcade Fire, Black Keys. Bjork and Klaxons are next. Also in the music category I will mention that I'm trying to escape my classical piano upbringing, in the same way that I am trying to escape my catholic upbringing, with similarly poor results. It's a mindfuck, that's for sure.

I think TV actually makes people move backwards in whatever personal progress they have made, it is not merely a stagnation, but an actual detriment.
I have formed a book club of two, consisting of myself and my good friend Jessica. We're reading Krishnamurti's Total Freedom. He confronts me with things I don't want to hear, but I know he's so right. Ask me about it. UPDATE!! The book club has expanded to three now, myself and two Jessicas.
