.. Create Your OwnFlaxy Morgan's humble beginnings came about in July of 1994, actually on the 9th, the birthday of drummer Kossuth. Their simple goal was just to be different, to offer an alternative set list to what other groups of the area were doing at the time. The original lineup consisted of Richie Rock Street on Drums, lead guitarists in Gene Onako and Lou Marino, Bass and vocals Cathy Silveri, Jeanne Pizano on keyboards & lead vocals. That line-up remained intact until March of '96 when Ronnie Williams replaced Marino. By January of '97, Onako would go his own way, only to be replaced by area music, Jason Santos. On Sept 26, 98 Russ Kile filled in for Silveri when she took a sabbatical. When Ronnie Williams BOLTED from the band, Kile was called and he happily obliged to rejoin the band permanently!!!! Kile is a former member of Arc Angel and FreeFall. He has talents at writing his own music and you may just hear him sing his song "Romeo". Jeanne was there from the beginning in 1994 an After an 8 year stint Jeanne decided to leave the band to start a family with a door left open at anytime to return with well wishes from the band. And she did Sept 2005!!! The secret behind the Flaxy success They've survived the trends. They've stuck to what they set out to do and are still doing it; making people dance. They give crowds what they want - long sets with minimal breaks! KNOW ANY OTHER BANDS WHO DO ... 2... 2 HOUR SETS? FLAXY DOES!While the band always has enough punch in current artist material, they can also hit you with music from yesteryear from the likes of Stevie Nicks, Joan Jett and even Madonna. Adding two more lead voices in Russ Kile and Jason Santos, the band can quickly do an about face and rock you with an uncanny presentation of Bon Jovi and music from Bryan Adams, Kenny Loggins, Prince, Styx, Ozzy, and Savage Garden. An occasional dose of 4 part harmony can occur on the flip of a dime - vocal talent like this can be very spontaneous. How does the band manage to cover all of these artists? Not only is Flaxy Morgan deep in vocal talent, the group can change instruments at will, giving the band added depth and productivity. Santos who also has multi-instrument talents and voice. Long time Bass player Russ kile can also play a mean keyboard! Last but certainly not least, Richie Kossuth ... rock solid, drumming . There you have it.
