Mimi Gonzales aka Dr. WatsonMimi Gonzales is multimedia artist coming fresh after years of partying from Belgrade's underground club scene. Besides his ideas and productions skills, his versatility also gained attention, as his music work covers a range of groove beats from deep house, through tech and progressive all the way up to minimal techno.Mimi was the producer behind first house releases coming to global dance scene from Serbia, including work for dj's like Ogi G Cash and Dj Lion.His first release (under pseudo Mimi Gonzales) was 'Full Bite Session' in 2002, for UK 's Minimal Records.Following EP 'Mr.Bite' was released for Dirty Blue Records, and track from it 'Funky Missbehaviour' landed at Layo & Bushwacka's 2xCD 'All Night Long', officialy voted '2nd best compilation in 2003' by DJ Magazine.On harder side he co-produced 'Stormy Places' EP, a mixture of minimal funky techno groover with progressive elements, gained warm support in techno dj comunity world wide. This EP was released by Londons techno label ..On_test.., owned by Brenda Russel. Another EP that Koxy and Mimi produced together is ..Activity.. (Subsequent Records, Amsterdam)On ..Trip The Light Fantastic.. (InDeep002, Amsterdam, 2005) his work appeared with tracks from Marko Nastic and Elektrik Buddiez.In 2006 he co-produced two volumes of DJ LION EP.
Most recently he produced first release for New Orleans label Sexxquisite Rec.
