The band was founded by frontman Ali Mortagui and co-founder (ex-drummer) Karim Amer who recruited Salem Assar for bass duties. They accomplished many relatively difficult feats in accordance with what can be expected in Egypt's anti-rock music scene.They recorded a demo in Ali's own home studio. Played several succesful gigs creating a good fan base in Alexandria and Cairo. Participated in Global Battle Of Bands Held In Amman Jordan August 2005. Coming first out of 12 participants.DVC got qualified in competing against bands across the region for opening the Dubai Desert Rock Festival 2007.After their return to their native homeland of Egypt the band experienced some difficulties mainly ; salem wished to pursue a different creative path and Karim left the country to get married in England. Leaving the frontman on his own with the shot at the Dubai Contest.Circumstance introduced Ali to His new rhythm section Jack Avakian (Bass) And Youssef Altay (Drums). Rerecorded The Demo along with producing new material with the new line-up. Still pursuing the dream to conquer all odds within a nation where rock is dead. and was never alive to begin with.
