About Me

I'm now a Master of Digital Storytelling having just earned my MA from Ball State. I love creating content for the web, whether it be written, designed, or filmed it doesn't matter, because I think the web really is the future of storytelling... hence why I went to school for a Master's in Digital Storytelling. My other passion is film and I've always wanted to be a filmmaker as long as I could remember, and I've really worked at it hard. I'll keep doing so while earning my keep developing content for the web. I just finished my thesis film and I'm pondering the idea of trying my first SAG Ultra-Low budget feature at the end of this year. We'll see...I also write, edit, and direct. But the truth is, there's a lot of things that I could see myself doing, sports-writing or wildlife photography. No...seriously, Marty Stouffer is one of my heroes. But, I'm finding that moment from "City Slickers" more and more relevant as I get older, you know the part...the one where Curly holds up his pointer finger and talks about how the secret to life is to find the "one thing". And that's all that really matters. As much as I hope and aspire to do in my life, that "one thing" is my wife.Check out my filmmaker page, you'll find the link below in my top friends, listed as Jake Williams.
