About Me

You know, people seem very keen to define themselves to others, or advertise themselves to others, on websites like this. I bet hardly anyone really represents themselves very accurately. People like to seem cooler and more interesting than they actually are.
So, in the spirit of honesty, here is my description of myself.
I'm a fairly nice guy who means well, cares about people and has a lot of worthwhile stuff he'd like to accomplish. I'm also pretty smart. However...
I don't in fact get a whole lot of stuff done, due to various fears and insecurities. This is extremely lame, because I have several talents.
I allow peer pressure and past conditioning to push me around.
I've mistreated and misled people due to my cowardice when it comes to confrontations and the fact that sometimes you just have to be honest with people even if it upsets them.
I've found myself on the right path now and again, just to wander off it again for no good reason. None of my apparent 'intelligence' really changes any of that. Intelligence is just the ability to do things, and doesn't stop you doing the wrong things.
I also realise that if I don't change the way I do things, it will just be more of the same. That woul be dull. I know this because it has been so far.
So, how about you?
I'd also like to say that I used to have a satirical Myspace page about Rupert Murdoch (the owner of myspace and almost everything else media-related, it seems). It was deleted as soon as they could find an excuse to do it. Censorship is rife on Myspace, by the way.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Musicians, writers, poets, artists, philosophers, scientists and anyone friendly and honest who thinks there's something seriously wrong with mass-produced education, fashion, opinions and humour. It would also really help if you don't take yourself and your problems too seriously.

My Blog

Today's insight is brought to you by the number 12.

There's something I've been noticing for a while now. People can't seem to just communicate with each other as people. Almost every time there's any social interaction, everyone seems to want to get...
