I was born in the hills of eastern Kentucky and lived there till the family moved to northern Indiana .. someone said once that if you take all the hillbillys out of starke county ,it would be almost empty.. I believe that too. Its such a good feeling to have a little hometown where you can almost learn a persons whole life history while you are waiting to get some groceries . lol. Just shows there is alot of good people still left in this crazy world .and "if i can make one person laugh each day. maybe it can replace a tear from another who has been crying " ..take the time to listen.I thank god for every blessing in my life . I have so many things to be thankful for and know that . A good husband of almost 32 yrs now ... and three beautiful daughters .. they are happy and healthy and have their own lives now but will always be our babies .. we only have one life to live .and im gonna live it by doing something i love most . my art and singing/songwriting. I play a big baby taylor guitar and she is truely my best friend when i feel down .. I started a song once about being a guitar string .. just how much love you would feel from the hands of picker when they needed a freind ..I know in my heart that with out family and freinds ..you have nothing . I dont believe in material things ..money really cant buy happiness. or real love . maybe just peice of mind .but .its got to come from the heart or it dont mean a thing ... you cant take it with you when you go . is the truest line there is ... I hope everyone has a chance to live like they were dying.. for one day.. it puts so much perspective in your heart to show what really matters.. for those i have met and those i hope to get the chance to ..
