Scene Eclectic Militia: A collaborative media dissemination tirelessly working to renovate the concept of scene.Scene Eclectic Militia was birthed by Virginia Rankin and Erika Learned on November 10th, 2006 while in route to the Bang Music Festival in Miami, Fl.Scene Eclectic Militia has been designed to unite multimedia artists, deejays, promoters, venue owners and musicians throughout the Gulf States by providing a forum of open communication that will promote and encourage the advancement of local scenes and artists through revolutionary multimedia projects which move beyond the box to disseminate eclectic expressions of the experience which is MUSIC to the very souls of all music enthusiasts.In an effort to create a community of photographers, writers, graphic artists, promoters, networking gurus, marketing geniuses, and all talented people that share our mission, we are building a network of people who have anything to bring to the table. As we begin this journey to unify the Gulf States music industry, we are focusing several projects on themes which will help to lay the foundation for what Scene Eclectic Militia stands behind. Current interviews, articles and promotions will be centered around these themes. Any interest in being a part of media projects currently sitting on the drawing table would be welcomed.
