Sometimes I write songs.
In an attempt to avoid being known as 'the guy with the sad song' I have uploaded two 'happy' instrumentals and changed my rather somber profile picture. As a friend mentioned last week, it's no longer November. As another friend wrote, December is suppose to be full of surprise and unexpected magic. So here is my attempt at holiday cheer.
Bolero des Chapeaux Rouges and Tuesday at T's are the result of a few months I spent cranking out songs on the ubiquitous $100 casio keyboard. Since the previous names for these pieces were #41 and #46 I had to come up with something a little more snazzy. Two good friends have assured me that the denizens of myspaceopolis are starving for instrumental music and I have named the bolero in their honor. Tuesday at T's was named in honor of Mr. T's Bowl in Highland Park, California. A thanks to all the bands I have seen play there over the years.
