To start things off, first we totally appreciate you coming and visiting our site because we put in a ton of hard work in bringing you tunes that will carry with you for a long time. Straight out of lower Pennsylvania comes 5 individuals whose main goal is to simply have fun playing heavy music. Blessed Be You started up in late May of 2007. After a hard summer of recording for their 2007 EP, they have reached the public eye like they have been hoping for since June 2007. Members of the BBY crew are Ryan F (vocals, keyboards, guitar), David H. (Guitar, Keyboards), Jeff S. (Guitar), Matt B. (Bass, Synth, BGvocals), and Doug F (drums). Throughout 2007, we played with some sick local bands and some amazing regional sets and we look forward to it next year with our new full length cd that we hope to have out early 2008. Yo guys its Ryan, your friendly neighborhood blessed be you singer. I just feel like I need to say what our band is all about. ya know. We know that Christain hardcore music is extreemly misunderstood today and looked down on by both "Christians" and non Christians. Yeah yeah we say we are a christian band when we play shows and stuff. but i also konw 99.9% of people at shows could care less what we say. But if there is one thing that we can possibly get across to anyone out there. Its that people will dissappoint you, Christians will dissappoint you, thats not God... God is truth, God is love, God is mercy, God is rest. He won't lie to you, he won't abandon you. We love expessing ourselves through the music we play and if we can plant the smallest seed in anyones mind through our lyrics and music, we feel like what we are doing is worth it.
