The Denver A Cappella Project

About Me

In the autumn of 1999, a group of great friends and talented singers got together out of curiosity to see what would happen if they tried to sing together. With a vocal music teacher in command, and over 175 years of combined vocal experience, the result was the Denver A Cappella Project. With three sets of spouses, two sets of siblings and two sets of in-laws, D.A.P. is a literal “family” that focuses on creating unique and entertaining performances suitable for any audience. The exciting and unique mixed octet offers a wide variety of a cappella music. The Denver A Cappella Project’s performances showcase the musical and entertainment diversity of the group. With a musical repertoire consisting of classical, jazz, contemporary, patriotic, folk, pop and more, the group’s music reminds many audiences of such international favorites as The Swingle Singers, Chanticleer, The King’s Singers and others. However, the distinctive sound, artistic style and entertaining personalities of DAP makes them one of a kind. The group takes great pride in sharing their music with communities through performing arts programs, community events, fundraisers, parties and business functions. Able to entertain for minutes to hours before the few or the thousands, the group can create a custom show for virtually any situation.Get our newest album Beyond Ordinary TODAY!
