Sue: Vocals and keyboard
Sue’s singing career began at the tender age of four with a particularly dodgy (but in tune!) rendition of Genesis’ ‘Illegal Alien’ and progressed to vocal solos at various concerts etc…
A qualified Nurse by trade, Sue performs and composes music for the sheer fun of it and loves every minute, hoping one day to produce a CD of her own music.
Her interests include performing, going to see other bands perform, hiking, camping, mountain biking, climbing, going out with friends, travelling, motorbiking and generally being active!
Will: Drums, vocals and acoustic guitar
Will is an experienced performing musician and has played in bands from a young age.
He holds a BSc(Hons) degree in music technology from Leeds Metropolitan University and Leeds College of Music.
His favourite instruments include alto sax, drums and acoustic guitar and he is currently pursuing a career as a singer/songwriter (www.myspace.com/willrichards) from his own pro-recording studio and rehersal facilities – Diamond Studios - based in Wakefield.
Interests include music, football, holidaying, squash and most importantly… Beer!
John: Bass and Vocals
We certainly don’t have a shortage of music buffs as next up we meet J. An avid musician since probably before he could walk John can play just about every instrument going to some degree of proficiency and, like Will, has a fair singing voice to boot.
He has studied music at Harlow and Leeds College of Music and now teaches and performs bass guitar and drums.
(More info can be found at www.myspace/madmusio.com or www.crème-brulee.co.uk)
Interests include playing music, composing music, teaching music, listening to music, music and going out partying….if the music is good. J
Dimitris: Lead guitar
After studying music for a few years (mainly at Salford and Leeds Universities) focusing on composing and playing the guitar D nowadays teaches guitar and theory for the Doncaster Music Service, Yamaha Music School in Doncaster as well as privately. (More info can be found at www.dimitriskyriakidis.com)
D’s favourite performing band in which he played guitar was called Flaming Rose – so fondly loved because he could ‘shred at will’. Rest assured shred is not dead in this band. However, it is more limited and selectively used due to the set list… I don’t suppose we could shred throughout heaven is a place on Earth could we? No? Oh well just a thought….
