Trills

In a city that has not been heard from in over a decade, Trills plans to be the voice of Newark, NJ. He manages to blend the rugged images of his streets into a concoction of insightful, yet hilarious, yet serious, and still somehow relevant work of art. Reminiscent of The Notorious B.I.G, he paints the perfect picture. As one half of the group 4.5.6. He easily breathes life back into "Brick City" as well as his partner Warbucks does, the same way Naughty By Nature, Redman, and LOTUG did years ago. He manages to illustrate the joy ride of a carjacking and flip his style and make us dance as he does on "Let Me See Something." Something tells me we are ready to explore the culture and tales of another hood. Strap on your seatbelts, wear a pair of gloves, and enjoy the ride!
