Cecil Chandler Won State and Local Awards
Cecil Chandler has been Broadcasting for 36 years.
Cecil started Radio in 1968. Then in January of 1972 he started working with WBTW Channel 13 TV.
He served on the the City Council in Darlington South Carolina for 12 years before moving to Myrtle Beach SC.
Has won numerous State and Local awards for his writing skills. He was presented the “Order Of The Palmetto†By Governor David Beasley of South Carolina.
You might remember the dumping of the mail in Darlington SC in 1989, that story earned him Associated Presshighest award for an investagative story of the year.
