About Me

I love music, movies, games, hanging with my friends, having fun and more music. I'm looking to expand my circle of friends. I've been a musician for 35 years now and I play keyboards, bass, guitar, ethnic percussion and have an AA in theory and composition. I'm always looking for people who want to jam seriously or just for fun (and love to pass along whatever knowledge I can to beginners). I love working with computers. Professionally, I'm a graphic designer...I also do 2D and 3D animation and build websites. I'm good with the hardware and can repair or build machines from scratch. I have a real fondness for MMOs and am currently playing Guild Wars and World of Warcraft. I love roller coasters and will take any excuse to go to an amusement park with good ones. I really love to fly and will also take any excuse to get off the ground in any kind of flying vehicle that I can (helicopters and sailplanes are FREAKIN' AWESOME!). I love to cook, I like to bowl or play pool or darts and I have a goofy little dog named Harry (he's a mix between a Lhasa and a mini-Schnauzer - he looks a lot like Benji - there's a picture of him in my photos). Politically, I'm a die-hard liberal and not ashamed to admit it in the slightest. If you want to talk politics, bring it on - but be ready, because I pull no punches. I try to be a nice guy all the time and I love to help people, so if you meet me and I treat you like I've known you forever and you're my best friend, don't take it as anything special - I'm like that with everyone - even strangers. I've been accused of being too intense, but I don't know that that's a bad thing. I wear my heart on my sleeve (even though it gets poked a lot that way) and you'll always know right where you stand with me.

Cool people who are fun and like to hang out or go out and be social. Intact and functional sense of humor required. Being a musician is an extra plus (especially if you have an interest in collaborating - always looking for more people to play with). Gamers of all types, please look me up. Mean people, please just do us both a favor and move along......Also, I'm here to actually make friends with people - if you just want another picture in your friends list, go headhunt elsewhere - if you want to make friends and be social, then please invite me......if you are in or close to the San Jose area and are looking for fun people to hang with/go to movies with/go to concerts with/hit up Great America with/go to coffee with/fill-in-the-blank with....definitely invite me....
