Marc G. IvoryA Psalmist, an accomplished musician, singer, songwriter and musician, as well as a profound preacher and teacher of the word of God, Elder Marc Ivory, Founder and Director of The Excelled Praise Singers, has been blessed to pen over 168 songs out of God’s ‘songbook’. Before being officially recorded and released, these songs have blessed many. The group members, called by God, consist of individual music ministers from various churches and denominations with one common goal of seeing his people saved and made whole through the gospel in song.Marc is an ordained Elder of the Church of God in Christ, and is currently Music Coordinator and Praise and Worship leader for the “Saturday Night Live†service at Hartford Memorial Baptist Church. He is also serves as Minister of Music at the Citadel of Praise Church in Detroit, Michigan Spencer T. Ellis (Pastor). He is an honors’ graduate of the National Institute of Technology’s Electronics and Computer Technology program.Marc has directed and trained hundreds of voices from Detroit to major cities nationwide and has taught youths of all ages, within and outside of the Detroit Public School system about their vocal and musical God-given talents and abilities. He has also served as the Executive Music Director for Campus Crusades for Christ Impact Conference in Atlanta, Georgia.Marc has been blessed to work with many top recording artist such as: Dorinda Clark Cole, Karen Clark Sheard, The Winans, Kim Burrell, Fred Hammond, Kenny Rogers, Martha Munizzi, Kirk Franklin, Dr. Marvin Sapp just to name a few. He has been blessed just recently to release his first debut blockbuster album “Season of God’s Will†which has just reached number 7 on the Bobby Jones top twenty countdown.Marc is an honors graduate of the National Institute of Technology where he studied and majored in Information Technology and has obtained his degree in Electronics & Computer / Networking Technology.
