This is the new and improved myspace for PITCH BLACK, the goth night that is always totally FREE ENTRY.
The music policy is you request it, we'll play it!
The only thing we ask is that it falls into either of these genres,
Goth(trad or new Goth),EBM,Industrial,Darkwave,Alternative 80's and Punk.
We've been running the night since September 2004 at
The Appleby, Green Street, Burton-on-Trent. This is a goth/alternative/gay friendly venue in the centre of a chav infested town,so any support you give helps keep them at bay..
We've been featured in Kerrang,The Alternative Magazine and Insomnia Magazine.
Pitch Black at Whitby, however, has been up and running since 2003, originally organised in order to be a warm up night for WGW our venue for this was The Buck Inn. When the pub was taken over by a landlord who wanted a sports bar instead, we took the bull by the horns and relocated in 2007 to The Resolution Hotel, Skinner Street, Whitby.
Judging by the response and improved attendance, we've made the right move!
April and October 2008 have already been confirmed with the Resolution Hotel, so welcome to our new home!
