I have had pitbulls since I was a teenager I adore this breed and try to do all that I can to save them from their bad misleading rap. I am on the committee called THE PIT STOP, which is an outreach pitbull program in Wilmington, DE, established by Faithful Friends No Kill Animal Shelter. The media is the worst when it comes to this awesome breed, always making pitbulls the vicious attacker in movies and commercials, chained to a tree or in a junk yard, teeth showing, barking... Most dog bit cases are not from pitbulls, do your homework. Its just unfortunate that the media loves to glorify a "pitbull attack." Any dog can be vicious, any dog can be abused and beaten.. Its the bad people in this world who ruin it for all the great dogs out there. We need to build a better, smarter tomorrow for our kids in hopes that we can raise a loving generation and perhaps save this breed and other breeds that are under attack.
