Product Of Hostility was formed over a long period of time and in many different stages. In 2003, after the disbanding of Violence In The Key Of C, vocalist Uriah Berry and drummer Jon Tibbits joined up with guitarist JP Davis to try to get something going. They all had slightly different musical backgrounds, but one thing held true throughout the whole band... a love for metal music and a desire to create their own music with their own style. The line-up stayed as is for a while. It didn't take long before they realized they needed a second guitarist and bassist, and Tosh DellaPenna quickly stepped in on guitar. It wasn't until late 2004 that the band was completed. Ian Taylor contacted the band after hearing they were looking for a bassist. After the line-up was complete, they focused on writing and playing out as much as possible for the next 2 and a half years.
In August of 2007, due to personal reasons, the band parted ways with drummer Jon Tibbits and guitarist Tosh DellaPenna. Both are amazing musicians and Product Of Hostility considers itself lucky to have worked with these two fine individuals. However, to ensure the productivity of the band, this decision had to be made. Drummer Jason Graves and guitarist Josh Hudson were contacted, and both agreed to join the lineup.
The songs currently posted were taken from a weekend sesion recorded in November '07 by this line-up. They carried on making new songs and playing shows for the next year and a half.
Between April and June of '09, vocalist Uriah Berry and guitarist Josh Hudson both parted ways. It had been a lot of fun with them and we wish them the best. Then again in June '09, vocalist Jo-el Burr was offered to try out and given the spot.
