About Me

I graduated with a Fine Art degree in 2001 and since have been doing small paintings, though not having alot of space and having many distractions my work slowed down... About 3 and a half years ago I started making Greetings cards and every Christmas I make cards to order and have had regular clients for couple of years now. Now, after graduating with a MA in Art Museum and Gallery Studies, I have found a new love in drawing small portraits, mainly from my photography, I'm working on new projects all the time, currently a large project, self portrait in as many media as possible... should keep me busy over the summer anyway... I'm going to be looking all over the country for a job now also, for the last year I've been looking up here, don't actually seem to be getting anywhere. (if that woman who does the voluntary work at Tyne and Wear museums would get back to me it would be nice). I'll be looking into jobs in Glasgow, Liverpool, Manchester, Leeds, York... all over!!

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Anyone who would like to collaborate with me, be it in a curatorial or creative sense, I'm looking for new motivation as well as setting myself up as a curator... getting experience in a Museum is proving difficult unless you have experience... My goal for next year is to be working in a museum or gallery full time.

New Projects

My projects over the next few months are quite exciting. As you see in the gallery, the painting of Sunset over Tyne (a gift to a good friend) has started a series of paintings of a similar nature.......
