I'm a 65 year old retired school teacher. I've been playing oldtime music for about 35 years, mostly clawhammer banjo, but some guitar and autoharp as well. I spent my youth in the USA in the states of New york and Conn.. I play in two groups here in Denmark, one called Greasy String and the other called Happy Feet. I've also played with The Barking Bulldogs, probably the oldest oldtime group in the country. Of several oldtime folks I know are Brad Leftwich, Richie Stearns, Foghorn Stringband and Troublesome Creek String Band. I live with my wife on a small farm now with 7 Icelandic horses, one dog and four cats. Watch out rats!
