If you know the Avalicious Pimp Mami P well, you know that she's always singing about whatever pops into her head. She's a genius like that. AvyTech Radio started as a joke. Now it has developed into a national phenomenon. This project-- this lyrical explosion, if you will-- is a remedy for all. This is the one-pop pill to kill all ailments... A miracle drug.

Band Members: AvyTech Radio is a one-woman act. Sometimes the alter-egos come into play -- Chesty McBoob, Olga, Rivka, and friends. Usually the music is acapella, but (despite procrastination) remixes/covers will be made in collaboration with Erik of Wizard Eye . We could quite possibly record some sex and put a beat behind it... I'll call it music and you bitches will just accept it. And love it. Avy is a merry makin mofo and will pimp out the good tunes with anyone who's jiggy. (slang is funny)
Influences: My Friends, My Love, and anything that's not funny but kinda is.... you know what I'm talkin about. DON'T PLAY STOOPID!!!
Sounds Like: AvyTech sounds is a mind-blowing mix of Tori Amos meets Alice Cooper, meets Alice in Chairs, with a bit of Tina Turner thrown in there. It's amazing that somehow this works. The classic sound of songs like "Sometimes it Snows" offers a broadway type of feeling. Then with tracks like "Squid Song" you're slipping into a Patra-esque reggae flavor. It's amazing really. AvyTech is so talented and versatile. There's something for everyone!(If you took any of this too seriously... you need to get your head examined.)
