Lesch-Nyhan started off originally with members Jason (vox), Dave (guitar), John (bass), and Casey (drums). Our first show was in Killeen (we miss you Erin!) and around Austin. Casey left and was replaced by Mike. Jon left and was replaced by Don.
More shows were done, more songs were written, made friends with lots of other bands such as Down-Siid (Killeen), Didly, Subcore (now Furthest from the Star), Course of Ruin, Darling Sinister, Applaud the Pain, Bedlam, Deadlift, and many many more! (don't mean to leave anyone out.)
We fell apart before we could release our DVD for "A Friend of Quinn." You can watch the meat of it here:
Once Don went estranged and Mike decided to take a break, Jason and Dave continued on under a new project known as "Devito" enlisting Brandon on drums and Chris on bass. Soon, Mike returned and things were going on their way, but schedule conflicts within the band led to Devito's demise.
Currently most of the members in both bands aren't actively doing anything music related these with the exception of Mike, Dave, & Jason.
Check out Dave's personal project at http://www.myspace.com/chromath
Jason's now the singer of Bangladesh with Mike as the drummer http://www.myspace.com/bangladesh5
Thanks for checking this Austin band from the early 2000's, we had lots of fun!
NEW VIDEOS! Added Dec 2008. These videos were a few of the "boner features" off Lesch-Nyhan's officially somewhat unreleased DVD. Hope you enjoy them.
