"Out there" I'm starting a creative consultant biz... I am a graphics designer, webmaster, writer, etc. and of course a single mom...But "in here" I'm just me...this is my retreat, my place to relax, unwind, and indulge in my love of anime and manga, gaming, vampires, and pretty much just simply BE.. without everyone and their uncle have a criticism or expectation...a place just to be me and to work on my own creative projects.I love music, nature, and intelligent conversation as well. This profile is also a gateway to my alt. ego...who, much like me, is a sorrowful yet emotionally void vampire, transformed by her lover and living under a curse she is protected by her sister, Eden, and lives in virtual seclusion. Here is my her/my bio:

Transformed by her lover, Winter is beautiful and seemingly cold.. but hidden deep beneath her blank stare is a sorrowful soul. Impossible to read, she hides a broken heart...few who get into her inner circle get a glimpse into her soul but no one ever sees her and she will reveal her true heart, to no one. Extremely loyal to her own, acting without mercy towards her victims. She is ice, showing no emotions...her victims will never know when she is ready to attack. She guards herself knowing that her vengence is swift, complete, and brutal when pushed too far. She is both justice and retribution...she does not seek out innocent victims...but when the fire is brought out in her eyes and she is provoked her kills are among the bloodiest.
Background:
Winter's childhood was a dark a lonely one. Raised by cold and cruel gypsy parents, the origins of her real parents were, for many years, unknown. At the age of twelve, when she refused to steal for her “family†any longer, they left her for dead, beaten unconscious. She was found by Fyodor, a kindly widower who never had any children of his own. He took the young girl back to the village of Aleksandrova where he raised her as his own. The gentle soul bestowed upon Winter all of the years of wisdom from his experiences as the villages leader, from his religion, and his traditions.
Fyodor was a greater father than she could have asked for, his parting left her lost and vulnerable for the dark seduction of a rogue vampire, Demetrius Puck. After turning her to the night, they traveled together to Japan, where he was to pay his final respects to an old Sensei. While there, she learned some of her more deadly skills. During their time together, learned some of the ancient arts from him, but the distance between Demetrius and Winter grew. He aids her on her search to find out the true identity of her parents, hunting down the gypsies that had raised her. They find them traveling with a girl somewhat younger than herself, who they claim to be their daughter. Confronting them, she learns a few clues from them, but before they reveal the entire truth, Demetrius kills them. Winter embraces the young girl as her sister, parting ways with Demetrius they soon discover that Eden's “gift†of sight, makes her a constant target. While traveling eastern Europe, Eden is captured and tried as witch, her sentence, to be burned at the steak. Unleashing the full force of her furry, Winter rescues her beloved sister but the life in her eyes is growing dim. Eden has begged to jon her sister in the darkness of night, and now, Winter has no choice if she is to save her life.
During her turning, Legend has it that Eden had a vision of her sister's demise but the true nature of the vision is unknown to anyone, even to Winter. Longing for the safety of the only home she ever knew they return to Aleksandrova where the sisters become inseperatable. Building a formidable clan, loyal and deadly.
As the years tarry on, a young Samurai visits their village from afar. When he is attacked one night, Winter is moved by his seemingly noble courage she rescues the nearly lifeless Xaito, hiding him away until he is fully recovered and aware of the new powers that she has given him. Her long flowing hair and piercing eyes captivate Xaito who vows to one day possess the sorrowful beauty. But Eden grows suspicious of Xaito who uses this to create a rift between the sisters. As the persecution in the village and surrounding areas grows, Xaito flees with his new bride, vowing to protect her for all eternity by hiding her from he world. Leaving their clan vunerable and weak and eventually it falls. Eden leaves Russia and wanders in a lonely hunt to find her sister.
Winter, rescued by a mortal who captures the vampress' heart. After entering into a blood bond, the mortal chooses to turn, to be with his love for all of eternity. The night his fate is to be sealed, the foolish mortal abandon's his course. Although still bound by their blood bond, Winter allows him to leave and begins to wonder aimlessly in search of her sister.
Now, reunited with Eden, she vows to rebuild their clan. Together, the Daughters of Darkness will lead the Vampire world. Merciful to the innocent and fiercely loyal, Winter will destroy anyone who threatens her house or ever again dares to part her from her beloved sister who watches over her with a protective eye.
Winter rarely turns anyone, and in fact has only brought two others into the night: Talos Del A Morte, a kindred spirit in the midst of his own sorrowful tragedy whom she rescues from an unfortunate encounter with a rogue gypsy band. And Daamon Vexion who for a short time, was Winter's lover. Now, with a heart of stone and ice, Winter's single duty is to rebuild their clan and destroy all who defy them.
