About Me

Life 9 is a project started by Producer/Keyboardist Kurt Bujack. Featuring the stellar emotive voice of James Dean Longacre, Life 9 has been described as Peter Gabriel meets Pink Floyd meets Ultravox ... As a full concept recording, production took over three years, and features some of the best players in the Northwest. Some of these include Garey Shelton - Bass, Ricky Lynn Johnson - Drums, Joe Shikanny - Guitar, Tyler Tullock - Guitar, Grant Reeves - Sax, and the list goes on .. Additionally, two choirs performed on this. Very much like an Alan Parsons production, many of the tracks melt from one to another ...

.•••When in LA ('89-'93) as a Chief Engineer and Tech Support for Studio 55, Devonshire Studios, Record One and Ocean Way, he worked with many Producers, Engineers and Artists including: Mick Guzauski, Thom Bell, Arif Mardin, David Foster, Andy Johns, Richard Dashut, Kiss, Michael Jackson, Rye Cooder, T-Bone Burnett, Meat Loaf (The major Food Groups), Bette Midler, Lindsey Buckingham, James Ingram, Second Self, Olivia Newton John, The Babies, The Black Crows and many more.
••• In 2001-2003 Kurt was an Internet DJ on Ampcast.com (Studio10 and New Spectrum Radio)
••• In 2004, Kurt worked with David Surkamp (Pavlov's Dog Vocalist/Writer) performing keyboards on a song entitled "Without Borders", that is part of a Charity CD released by David Tibet, with the proceeds going to "Doctors Without Borders"
