Featuring the stellar emotive voice of James Dean Longacre, Life 9 has been described as Peter Gabriel meets Pink Floyd meets Ultravox ... As a full concept recording, production took over three years, and features some of the best players in the Northwest. Some of these include Garey Shelton - Bass, Ricky Lynn Johnson - Drums, Joe Shikanny - Guitar, Tyler Tullock - Guitar, Grant Reeves - Sax, and the list goes on .. Additionally, two choirs performed on this. Very much like an Alan Parsons production, many of the tracks melt from one to another ...

••• In 2004, Kurt worked with David Surkamp (Pavlov's Dog Vocalist/Writer) performing keyboards on a song entitled "Without Borders", that is part of a Charity CD released by David Tibet, with the proceeds going to "Doctors Without Borders"
