Raised in a home which exposed him to a variety of genres, Richard Anthony Spence aka Richie R.A.S. grew with an appreciation and love for music. In his early teen years he began collecting records and learning his craft. Presently he manages to maintain a strong presence on the Kingston party scene, creating storms and setting standards, whilst continuously improving his craft.
At age 24 he stands as a well respected young selector, steadily rising in popularity, and attracting the ears of party-people throughout Jamaica and the Jamaican Diaspora. Specializing in Dancehall, Reggae/ One Drop, Hip Hop, R & B, Souls, Alternative/ Rock, and Soca, he continues to expand his musical range, and the range of individuals/ markets which he appeals to.
For Richie its all about doing things different...Bringing a new style of delivery to this era…
Definitely a shot to watch, keep your ears open for his quick and clean, high energy mixes and selections.
