About Me

I was born in 1971. I started making music at the age of 17, and by the age of 20, I scored the residency of one of the biggest clubs in Hungary. Mostly due to this fact I started working in the radio, and in the following 10 years I did not quite deal with anything else but radio. I spent more than 10 years working for the Hungarian Radio1, as an anchorman, program- and network manager (supervisor). From 2002, I dealt much more with making music since the mainstream commercial radios could not provide anything new. I was interested in all the electronic music genres but after some time my interests were reduced to house and progressive house only. Since this genre was not represented by commercial radios (except for some weekend programs) I started thinking of the need of a thematic radio, where it is possible to make music without any compromises or restrictions. The best opportunity for this is Internet, a webradio; especially because to the best of my belief the future of media is Internet. I belong to those of the lucky people who managed to make their dreams come true.

On 1st, April 2005, my friend, Mark Jazz and me launched the Justmusic.fm, the internet radio, which has become the leader radio of Hungary and it has also become the one of the most determinative radio of the world in its genre. The success of Justmusic.fm is due to that fact that besides broadcasting free progressive/house mixes and sets all day long (24hours a day) and there are live sets and programs every day, where you can hear the DJs; moreover, they are also visible to the public owing to our webcam. Our slogan also refers to this: Look and listen! I have played at Justmusic and different Hungarian Parties with DJs such as: Anthony Pappa, The Low End Specialists, Behrouz, Carl Kennedy, Chris Gainer, Christopher Lobsinger, Desyn Masiello, Dj Kool, Dj Tarkan, Dominik Eulberg, Gabriel & Dresden, James Zabiela, Dj Kos, Austin Leeds, Steve Gerrard, Jody Wisternoff (Way Out West) Luke Fair, Matthew Dekay, Nick K, Nils Noa, Oliver McGregor, Ozgur Can, Quivver, Satoshi Tommie, Soda Inc, Lexicon Avenue, Echomen, Steve Porter, Sultan, Dean Coleman, 16 Bit Lolitas, The Scumfrog, Nick Warren.

It is hard to define my genre what I play, maybe I would say that I prepare for each performance of mine, I do know what I want and what I will play, but it can be overwritten by the audience or the mood I’m in. I believe that the role of a DJ in a party is to gain temporary and permanent experience, but not the art for the art’s sake. Nowadays, mostly I manage the radio and play at parties as a DJ, and I have recently started my work as a producer, the result of which can be heard later.
