Praised as "superb in their powerful and dynamic rendition", Eternal Tango Orchestra and Quartet was founded by the bandoneon player, Hector Del Curto in June 2003. The New York based orchestra features ten of the world's leading tango musicians forming the first tango ensemble of its orchestra–size in North America and one of very few currently active in the world.
The Eternal Tango Orchestra and Quartet appears regularly at the Lincoln Center Summer Festival, Hudson River Park Trust Moon Dance Series in New York City, Stowe Tangofest in Vermont, Levitt Pavilion for the Performing Arts in Connecticut, Resonance–World Music Festival in Cleveland, Tango Extravaganza in New Jersey and Embajada Argentina in Washington D.C. and Festival Iberamericano de las Artes in Puerto Rico.
Recently, the Eternal Tango Orchestra was featured in critically–acclaimed show, "Tango, Historias Breves" at NYU's Skirball Center for Performing Arts in New York with Guillermina Quiroga, the producer and dancer of the show.

About the CD
“When I asked Hector Del Curto about the precious cello sound on his new CD, he told me it is his wife: “I have a good ear for women,” he commented with his fine sense of humor. A good ear is not his only qulity; he also has exquisite taste and the perfect balance between precision and delicacy of the chamber music and the passion and expressive power of the popular music of his native Argentina”.
– Paquito D’Rivera
