I was born in Holguín, a cuban's province;(Oye CONSOLTE en la Tierra más LINDA que ojos humanos hayan visto...CRISTOBAL COLON), on the Oriente zone,from a beautiful cuban lady and a rough jamaican gentleman;(Kingston 34!... them ago tired fe see me face).My Father was teacher in Cuba and some of my ralatives by the some father are phisicians,engineers. It's like a family's heredity from generation to generation we got to finish some college; reason why my father forced me to study at the university(electricity)..."BUT" by the some mother i was really blessed by My Lord because most of my relatives were musicians, my grandfa(Chicho Solarez) was a tres guitar player like two of his brothers, founders of the TROVA movement in my city.My cousins Coki and other relatives we decided to follow the steps of our predecessors. The early part of my life always passed in a musical environment... I studied the basic from elementary level in music; dissociating from the art's world by some years. After being studing at the university I came back to the art's world thanks to my mother's younger brother. Zenaide Aguilera(alias pelao Solarez) was on those days a recognized percussionist. My ancle invited me to be part of the Timba, "(The commonly accepted term for the new type of concert and dance music that's been played in Cuba since about 1989)", project joint to Alfredo Morales(Chiquitin)a famous singer that with his son named like him but(alias Coki) a trombon player were initiating this one. I was on it ,until months before going out from Cuba in 2000, as a bell and bongo player.This project also opened to me the doors of the Hermanos Saic Association, this organization promotes youngs artist until 30 years old. Thanks to this Assiociation i also was doing theatre with the company "Mascaras". Arriving to this country once again i dissociated from musical & Theater environments but i kept a little close doing small gigs in quartets & trios. Since about 2005 i decided to return because the music is in my veins, no way for me to be far away again... Thanks My Lord & Savior JESUS,first of all by the "GIFT OF LIFE",to pay for my sins; to allow me see the light that just on your MAJESTY may shine JEHOVA, to let me meet, on my road; people like Francisco Mela(a great musician,teacher and friend"MelaO"), Mariana Iranzi(a bass,piano,guitar player, teacher and friend. "LA GAUCHA"). Thanks a lot Juansito Trucupei for the period you allowed me to be part of your project "La Chusma" and your friendship...I will always remember those days playing around New England with you guys. Thank you very much Chusmosos, it was great to be into. I was able to grow a lot like musician and as a person. The weybataco El Brian don't give up the fight Bro keep on. Thank you so much guys you were all very helpful in my return to Musical World in here"USA".
