About Me

Madeline has been playing musical instruments and singing since she was a kid. Her first instruments were the xylophone and kazoo. She later moved to the piano at the age of 7. At 15, she received her first guitar and has been playing one and writing music since. Her sound is honest and her style is unique.
After a few weeks in the hot Nevada desert for a geology class, she returned to LA and wrote her first song. After playing it for a classmate who immediately asked to place it in his class project's documentary, "Pioche"-- a tongue-in-cheek rehashing of the field camp endeavor-- has become an audience favorite.
Since Madeline first ventured in front of a microphone at an open mic night in early 2005, she's gone on to play in front of many other microphones, endearing audiences in a variety of venues, including house concerts, UCLA, Unurban Coffeehouse, Westwood Brew Co., Synergy Cafes, Karma Coffeehouse, It's A Grind Coffeehouses, The Derby, and B.B. King's Blues Club at Universal Citywalk, in Hollywood, CA.
In 2008, she performed in the "Don't Call Us Tori" showcase in Hollywood, featuring a few of LA's best females singer-songwriters. She also hosted Mikey Mondays, a biweekly open mic night in Santa Monica, CA.In 2009, you can see her in a music documentary film "This is How We Dream" (released: May 2009) about local LA musicians pursue their musical dreams while keeping their day jobs. Watch the trailer here ! She also had two songs placed in the film, "Good to Know" and "Slipped Away."always interested in additional music placement for film and television projects, this summer, Madeline is armed with a significant repertoire of interesting melodies and lyrics ready to showcase.
