About Me

Hi, thank you for checking me out. As a person, if I seen someone laying on the side of the road dying, I would do everything in my power to help him/her because I am opposed to death and/or torment. As a musician I have learned that creativity is of the utmost importance. I started playing guitar at a very early age and can play many "copy" songs, but my goal here is to be somewhat of a Picasso on the guitar. With this in mind, I have developed picking "shapes" that extend beyond tradition, and, too, I am really quite pleased with the vocal ability I have developed over the years because I was always the "lead guitarist" in bands, but I have an ability to reach high notes and I have developed a unique style as a singer. I have an appreciation for everyone. Sometimes people get caught in the trap of thinking in a closed minded way. How do you really say who is the best? Technical skill or creativity? Steve Perry from Journey had probably the highest voice around, but I like Bob Dylan's music better why? And who was the more popular painter? Van Gogh or Picasso? It's all in the art of it. I have seen guitarists who hate Jazz. Why? Is it because they find it difficult to play? I think so. That's why I have a appreciation for all art forms and usually people who are overly critical of others are, themselves, lacking ability in artistic, technical, or maybe both areas. Art is difficult to master. You can be the best technician on the planet and yet a horrible artist. My goal is to develop proficiency in both. I respect everyone and continue to be open minded and study virtually every style that I can. I write music to present myself and my personality and I am pleased with my work. Some like it and some don't and that's okay. Every person has a different taste and I respect that. But, this is who I am. Also, feel free to check out my videos, but please remember to stop the player at the top, otherwise, the two will play simultaneously and the sound will be messed up. Okay, thanks again. Also, you can now purchase all 10 songs from my "Rock This Town" CD for only $3 by going to my home page listed on my profile and using pay pal. It's safe, simple, and easy. Peace, Tim

Sounds Like: As a guitarist, I have learned that being closed minded limits your playing ability and hinders your artistic perceptions. I am a rocker first, that is true. But, I have an appreciation for virtually every style of music and I am quite knowledgeable of Jazz, Country, Blue Grass, Spanish Style, and Neo Classical music. I can play many songs by Pat Martino, George Benson, Pat Metheny, Larry Carlton, etc. And I certainly respect everything they have done. This ability has helped me to expand my guitar playing to a level where I can play an acoustic guitar and be appreciated, or play in a club with a diverse audience and still be a "crowd" pleaser. But, the sound I get here is my own. It's my unique rock style of playing and song writing and it's meant to send a message to the listener. A very good example of this can be heard in "The Victim's Song." This song was actually inspired by the story of Anne Frank who was a very beautiful soul and the unfortunate victim of the cowardly Nazi. it is an ANTI-Nazi ANTI-HATE GROUP statement and refers to how people like Hitler and his clan of goons got control of Germany. I mean, it is so horrible that the Jewish People had to go through such abuse before people could wake up and see just how evil Hitler was, and, too, other races like the blacks. It's important that people learn how to fight against being brain washed into thinking something that is wrong is okay. Anyway, this is who I am and I hope you like it. PEACE
