Daniel Musy is a full time musician and studio engineer. Since 2004, he has been playing sax alto, tenor, soprano and harmonic with Roupa Nova, the legendary top brazilian rock/pop band that has just released the DVD/CD Roupacústico 2.
He started his musical education playing classical guitar at the age of 6 and studied at “Escola de Música de BrasÃlia†for 12 years. By the end of the course he was already in love with his main instrument, the saxophone.
In 1991 he moved to Atlanta, USA and in 1992 went to Berklee College of Music, Boston, where he has double majored in performance (saxophone) and Music Production & Engineering.
Returning to Brasil he opened his own professional studio in BrasÃlia to work with music production & advertisment and since 2003 has been living in Rio de Janeiro.
As a studio engineer and musician he had the oportunity to work with great brazilian producers and artists as Torcuato Mariano, André Vasconcellos, Hamilton de Holanda, Leo Gandelman, Gabriel Grossi, Isabella Taviani, Sandy e Júnior, Milton Guedes and many others.
