It all started in the summer of 2005, when I used to accompany my “so called friendâ€, who I had introduced to the sound industry and helped get an evening slot on the radio station Bassline Hot 97.9 FM. My love for music and popularity in the industry led me to a regular 30 min slot at the end of his show, where I used to play slow soul music (slow jams) but would never talk..One night I was just on my way to bed when I turned on Bassline FM and realised the DJ who was meant to do that evening slot hadn’t shown up. I called up the studio and told them I was on my way. I grabbed some headphones and a few CD’s and ended I up doing a four-hour show.
During that show I didn’t talk, I just played music until someone rang the studio to enquire if the music being played was a mixed CD on auto-pilot or whether some one was actually in the studio. I didn’t want to talk too much just in case my voice was recognised by the people I knew in the industry. But the caller said I had a nice voice and that I should let people hear what I had to say about the music. The caller wanted to know what my name was but I didn’t have one,which she found hard to believe, A friend said I should just leave it at that so I did and that is why i ended up with THE DJ WITH NO NAME.
So why do I hide my name and face you may ask? I suppose people wouldn’t believe me if they knew,which some people do obviously, so I guess I’ll leave it at that THANKS.

After being given a regular show on Tuesdays 11pm-3am playing the very best in the latest slow jams for a few months I realised the show times I was given were clashing with my day job so I asked my friend Scrunchiee to stand in when I wasn’t available – having the same musical interests and certain knack for attracting a large amount of calls he has become my permanent stand in and officially we have become a double act.
First and foremost I would like to Thank the "MAN UPSTAIRS" because without him my shows wouldn’t go on & Myspace wouldn’t be here.
