About Me

Save Internet Radio!
Years ago, a young Lex de Azevedo II, a.k.a. DJ Lex wandered into a store called 'Licorice Pizza' on Ventura Blvd in California. He bought his first records: a stack of Oingo Boingo LPs. He'd trace the artwork of the picture sleeves to make T-Shirts in his junior high graphics class.
Lex has been collecting vinyl ever since. In 1998 he realized that vinyl was becoming extinct and started recording his collection to CD. In 2000, he came across a website called Live365 that allowed people to make their own internet radio stations. It was at that moment that Club 80s - The 80s Remixed was born, dedicated to New Wave and Alternative remixes.
But the rest of the 80s had no home. Add to that the amazing extended club classics remix collection of 70s, funk, disco, pop, house, R&B, dance, new jack, hip hop and a new station was open for your listening pleasure! 12 Inch Retro Radio lives on to provide the best and rarest remixes of your favorites!
Tune into 12" Retro Radio now!
By the way folks, we like to keep it clean around here. If you are selling yourself or others, we'd appreciate you moving on. Thank you for your respect.
