FLYAME---- (music page)

FLYAME, has a lot to offer when it comes to music. Her passion for music began as a little girl. At the age of seven, she started singing in the church, and playing the keyboard at the age of nine. She fell in love with acting, dancing, singing, and poetry. At nine, she fell deeply in love with reggae/dancehall music and enjoyed dancing to soca music. Some of her favorite artiste while growing up were Red Rat, Tanya Stephens, Beenie Man, Scare Dem Crew, Celine Dion, Mariah Carey, Boys to men, Byron Lee and the Dragonnaires, and her Uncle, Goodygapp (http://www.myspace.com/goodygapp).

She wrote her first song at the age of eleven and performed it at her High School Concert. The response was actually good, and that motivated her even more.

During most of her months at 6th form, she enjoyed singing with and Dj-ing to friends as a form of entertainment and loved every moment!

"I only did it for fun. But I wasn't really thinking about taking it seriously".

Her performances include: the MACKA DIAMOND SHOW (ft. Tanto Metro/Devante), held in Hartford, CT, GARRISON SUMMER JAM( Movado, Roundhead, Ghost, Alozade, & Major Mackerel), ONE LOVE REGGAE FESTIVAL (which entailed acts like Capleton, Assassin, Salasafari, Gregory Isaacs, Coco Tea, Jah Thunder, Munga, Buju Banton..), REGGAE SPLASH (Sanchez, Lukie D, Singing Melody, Tony Curtis, Thrilla U)...Shabba Ranks, etc.
