PLATINUM DANCE ARE A FRESH AND FUNKY DANCE COMPANY IN LIVERPOOL THAT SUPPLIES DIFFERENT STYLES OF DANCE CLASSES AND WORKSHOPS. THERE MAIN FOCUS BEING STREET/HIPHOP. THE DIRECTORS OF THE COMPANY KEEP THE CHOREOGRAPHY AS FRESH AS POSSIBLE AND WORK HARD TO SUPPLY QUALITY CHOREOGHRAPHY TO MEET THE NEEDS OF THEIR CUSTOMERS, WHICH HAVE INCLUDED PRIMARY SCHOOLS, SENIOR SCHOOLS, COLLEGES, VARIETY SHOWS, LIVE ACTS AND MANY MORE. PLATINUM DANCE ALSO HAVE THEIR REGULAR PLATINUM DANCERS, THESE ATTEND CLASSES EVERY WEEK TO WORK ON ROUTINES FOR ANNUAL SHOWS AND COMPETITIONS. PLATINUM DANCE HOPE TO PUT ALL THEIR DANCERS FORWARD FOR WORK, AUDITIONS, AND DANCE DEVELOPMENT PATHS.More schools are using dance instead of traditional PE for pupils, and PLATINUM DANCE are in the forefront of providing lessons.
The pair met at dance school and left soon after to establish their own school, Platinum Dance.
They work with a range of clients but have already built up links with 20 schools throughout Liverpool and Lancashire where they teach youngsters different dance styles, from jazz to tap, street, hip hop, ballet and Irish dance.
It’s a great way to keep fit.
The duo provide specially choreographed dance routines schools can buy and use for their own shows.
We are doing a dance course with Creative Training who deal with kids who have dropped out of school.
The duo already have an impressive pedigree. They were part of the Digabeat dance crew that won last year’s Liverpool Capital of Culture dance festival.
Kayleigh and Christina have worked in dance clubs like Hedkandi at Nation in Liverpool and with live acts like So Solid Crew and dance artists Sonique and Ultrabeat and Booty Luv.
They have also taken classes in Los Angeles and New York.
