for the past month or so ive had g love in my cd player nonstop. LOVE john mayer, lily allen, jurassic 5, MAROON 5, jack johnson, dave matthews, rascal flatts, justin timberlake, marc broussard, amos lee, joss stone, phil collins and genesis, lenny kravitz, foo fighters, mat kearney, joseph arthur, nelly furtado (old stuff is awesome), anything with a piano in it is great, citizen copeit's a random assortment but it works for me i guess. plus i have my guilty pleasures... love singing poppy music in my car including but not limited to backstreet boys, britney spears, mandy moore, anything mariah carey. also, i think that the coolest job ever would be to be the person who picks out songs to go in movie soundtracks. my fav. sdtrks are wicker park, garden state, the last kiss and possibly even sisterhood of the traveling pants
i LOVE movies... mostly like wierd movies, esp. those with josh hartnett- not bc he's hot or anything but i freakin love wicker park, lucky # slevin and such. love british romantic comedies liiiike bridget jones' diary, wimbledon, notting hill.. annnd british action/comedies: snatch, lock stock and two smoking barrels. also love black romantic comedies (if that's p.c. to say??) for some reason, like tyler perry movies, love and basketball, BROWN SUGAR and the wood a few honorable mention movies for now would be the departed, little miss sunshine, kiss kiss bang bang
dvr is the worst/best thing that ever happened to me... i watch way too much tv and stay up until wee hours of the morning watching it. i dvr: the office, ugly betty, the black donnellys, heroes, lost (i havent given up on it yet :)), desperate housewives, america's next top model, can't wait for another project runway season, gilmore girls, 30 rock, notes from the underbelly, celebrity fit club, the hills/laguna beach, and any real world or inferno or derivative i don't have showtime or hbo but ive caught up on both entourage and the weeds... GREAT shows
ive been told that i should read 'real books' so i can learn something but i somehow end up buying books with the same plot and realizing halfway through what it is: a woman has been screwed over by some man, she gets bitter, then she meets a gentle, gorgeous man who melts her heart and teaches her to love again. which is retarded. i think i just choose books if they have a pretty cover. oh, and i LOVE harry potter and im pumped for the release of the last book this summer. i like stephen king, too. i read 'it' in the seventh grade
