I'm a songwriter and indie filmmaker who does corporate videos to pay the bills. I have a childlike enthusiasm and passion for music and movies, and I'm only truly happy when I'm working on my own song or film (or watching the longhorns win the national championship). I'm always trying to improve myself, probably out of a belief that I kinda suck at everything.If you're really cool, I'll mail you one of my band Sybil's new CD's. It runs the gamut from pop punk to classic rock to acoustic pop to funk metal, all recorded at the badass Musiclab studios here in Austin. Screwed up artsy people into making music, films, paintings, and plays, and completely obsessive sports fanatics. I'd also like to meet Emily Blunt, Liz Phair, Martin Scorsese, Jack Nicholson, David Lynch, Fiona Apple, Poe, and if they were alive, Kurt Cobain and Marlon Brando. If you can quote entire scenes from Anchorman, I might marry you.I like to open my mind to new ideas and new things, just keep me away from Dianetics and members of Oprah's Book Club. And NO IVY LEAGUE HIPSTERS ALLOWED. I don't need you dirtbags to tell me how great Arcade Fire and Kierkegaard really are.Lastly, and this is a dealbreaker---- if you don't think Freeway is a great American movie, you can go straight to Hell with a chili dog. It fu_kin' rocks and so does Kenny Loggins.
