About Me


Dan has been playing for 16 years, throughout that time gaining a lot of professional live and studio experience. He has played on numerous TV and studio recordings and performed in front of audiences of up to 25,000 people. In 1999 Daniel's band Keops won the "Best Group' award at the 'Ritmi Globali Europei' Festival in Treviso, Italy. In 2004 Daniel moved to London where he studied at Drumtech and achieved the "Top Performer" award, during which time he also appeared on the CD cover of 'Rhythm' magazine. In London, Daniel also worked live and in studio for a producer Lee Hirons who has worked with U2 , REM, and Pete Townsend, and in Gordon Rafael's (The Strokes) studio. In 2006 performed at Guilfest alongside Billy Idol and the Stranglers. In 2008/2009 he performed live on BBC Radio 6, Channel 4, 4Music Channel, supported Jason Mraz with singer songwriter Jonny Taylor (Air MTM management) and worked on a soundtrack for a new theatrical piece 'T(r)apped' by Maresa von Stockert's award winning dance theatre company Tilted Productions. In summer 2009 Daniel will study with legends Simon Phillips, Horacio 'El Negro' Hernandez and Pete Lockett.Dan also teaches drums for Yamaha UK and in 'Rhythm Studio', West London.{} I created my layout at KillerKiwi.net:::::::::::: Daniel uses Yamaha Oak Custom Drums ,Yamaha Hardware, Zildjian cymbals and Vater sticks.
