YOUR CHANCE TO BE IN A MOVIE…BURLESQUE FAIRYTALES – SUPPORTING ARTIST OPPORTUNITYWant to spend a day on a professional film set? double barrel productions will be shooting key sequences of their debut independent feature film Burlesque Fairytales on location in a historic theatre in London.As part of these sequences, the opportunity for you to be a member of the theatre audience alongside our famous faces lead actors is on offer. Building on the success of double barrel’s 35mm short film DOLLS shot last year, screened on BBC and SKY TV to critical acclaim and officially selected to play at international film festivals in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Cyprus, Spain, Italy, Japan and Africa, double barrel will be shooting Burlesque Fairytales theatre sequences over two weekends in spring 2007.140 people came together to complete DOLLS including professional industry crew with Harry Potter, Troy and The Da Vinci Code among their credits, as well as celebrated British actors Charles Dance (Gosford Park) Joanna Lumley (Corpse Bride, Absolutely Fabulous) and Denis Lawson (Bleak House, StarWars) who donated their time and talents to work with our young director.Burlesque Fairytales is a low budget feature which will be shot to the same high production values as double barrel’s previous work. (please see our ‘Press quotes’ page on this website for our reviews) Burlesque Fairytales has already been offered a broadcast slot on SKY TV due to the quality of DOLLS. The feature film will be premiered on the French Riviera during the Cannes Film Festival 2008.As a selected Supporting Artist, you are requested to arrive to set dressed as a 1930’s high society lady / gentleman (period glamour is not expensive, the best costumes will be found in charity and antique shops, all costume info included in Supporting Artist Packs) At the start of the shoot day, all Supporting Artists will be pampered by our professional make up and hair artists in preparation for your on screen appearance.During the day, you will be featured in scenes both inside the theatre auditorium and in the theatre bar and be served with a gourmet buffet lunch. You will also receive a series of production photographs of yourself looking your best which you can use for future promotion. Along with your SKY broadcast credit in the feature film, you and 3 guests will be invited to the London premiere of Burlesque Fairytales.Up to 100 audience member supporting artist roles are available. These roles will be allocated on first come first serve basis. Book soon to avoid disappointment.
