Long ago and far away, I was the Lead guitar player in a band called The Corvettes. We named ouselves after my guitar, a Gretsch Corvette. That lead to being in the second best band in Philly in the mid 60's, the Sands of Time. Then the Army got me for 8 yrs and now adays, I am living in Willow Grove, PA and converting my garage into my version of a Hard Rock Cafe complete with all instruments required for a garage band to come and play in. I have a Hammond organ, a complete micked drum set, and over 35 guitars. Several amps and a PA system round out the instruments. One other thing I do is collect autographs from artists that I go to see. I have over 200 autographs that cover probably 25 of the guitars I own. I want the new garage to be a place where my musical friends and I can get together and jam and check out the memorabilia hanging on the walls. No one would have to bring anything, as all the instruments and amps are already there. Through my ushering at a nearby venue I have become friends with many of the acts coming thru. I have been asked to shoot video and photos for some of them, and even supplies some video for a soon to be released DVD.
