The Tattooing Demon studio, founded by Gippi Rondinella in 1986, was the first shop of its kind established in Rome.It has received prizes and awards at a variety of international conventions, including the Bologna Tattoo Expo in 1994 and 1996 and the Riccione Convention in 1996.
Over the years, many tattoo artists of international fame have worked at the Studio: first and foremost the Japanese artist Horiyoshi III.In the summer of 2004, the Demon Tattoo Studio moved to its new premises on the Via Grotta Pinta, where it offers gadgets and handmade crafts items produced by the Studio artists or imported directly from Japan, as well as top-quality piercing jewellery, tee-shirts etc..
The Studio also organizes presentations of new books, plus painting and photography exhibitions, with an emphasis on popularising and showcasing the art of tattooing.
