Turkish Gypsy Music

About Me

These are the best songs of some of the masters of Turkish Gypsy music(plus some talented hacks); most of which are completely unknown outside of Trakya, the big chunk of Turkiye west of Istanbul. Most of these guys have many cassettes, and very few have cds; these are conversions from cassettes unavailable outside a small area of Turkiye. I will change the tunes periodically, so you can get a real idea of the number of great artists available in Turkiye that, chances are(depending on who you are) you haven't heard of, and maybe never would otherwise. Sorry, but to allow people who have slower computers to be able to load all the media, I will no longer be accepting comments; I have very much appreciated all the kind comments, and if you have comments or suggestions, please send me a message directly...I love it! Myspace dedicates a limited amount of data per each page, so I want as much of it to go to the music as possible. If you are having problems loading the audio, just refresh the page once or twice, and it should play fine. This is a nice opportunity to listen to great masters of Turkish Gypsy Wedding musicians...enjoy!Selim Sesler, Brenna MacCrimmon, & HusnuRoman grup jamming

Agam, Agam

This is an odd little bugger of a tune I got from Brenna MacCrimmon;  a peculiar interpretation of the common tune Agam(aman Ali bey),  by the macedonian gypsy Ahmet Giguli.  This tune ...
