We decided to dedicate this band to all those who don't have a voice. We tell their stories because everybody is unique. Everybody's inner child is dying to tell it's own story and this band is their messenger. People's inner children don't deserve to be treated like ghosts, as though they don't exist. So we are here to tell the ghost childrens' stories. The stories of each person's Kinderghost.
Bio
Kinderghost, comprised of Simon Hudes on vocals and guitar, Dominic Petrino on bass guitar, and Michael Gardner on drums, has only been officially active for short time, but its members have been playing together for over a year and a half in various other bands. Through grueling weekly practices and collaboration in creating their music, Hudes, Petrino, and Gardner have developed a close bond that goes far beyond being in a band, whose influence is reflected in their songwriting.
According to its members, influences include Muse, Arctic Monkeys, Rilo Kiley, The Velvet Teen, The Strokes, Eisley, and Streetlight Manifesto. Kinderghost's songs have been described by top bands The New Trust and Hazel and Vine as having soaring melodies, solid rhythm, and uniquely creative beats, truly pushing the limits of indie rock. With its rapidly expanding fan base, Kinderghost is beginning to step outside its hometown of Los Gatos and reach out to audiences everywhere.
