I have 2 great children, ages 20 and 15.
My family and friends are a major part of my life. Therefore, a large part of everything I do revolves around spending time with them as much as possible. I am fiercly loyal to anyone close to me, as most Leos are, and love deeply, as long as you don't cross me intentionally. I do believe in second chances, but that's all you get! I would rather not have friends than friends that are not loyal, trustworthy and true. Of the friends I have, very few hold a place special enough to be considered my closest/best friends, but those that do mean the world to me and, just like my family, I will ALWAYS be there for them.
To me, friends are people who are open, non-judgemental, and GENUINE....someone you can laugh and talk with, or just vent sometimes even if they have no idea what it's all about. Friends will call up on a weekend and say "hey let's go camping, or out to a movie, girl's night out, or just sit on the porch and chat" and you never have to worry about whether they will be talking about you the next day. I prefer friends without all the drama---I have enough going on in my life, I don't need any more. I don't get into friends that are wishy-washy, have no clue and are not sincere about their friends or being a friend. We all have the same need...and that need is to be understood, accepted for who we are, and loved unconditionally.
Now for the less serious stuff..... I like to spend time on the lake skiing and boating, at the beach, or traveling through the mountains camping, swimming, and hiking. Since I grew up not too far from the beach, that will always be a place that feels like home. The ocean always has a "healing" quality about it. I enjoy horseback riding....there is nothing like getting on the back of a horse after a long day and wandering the woods or fields to clear your head from the days activities and stresses.
I like going to movies and concerts, family Bar-B-Q's, cookouts and getting in the kitchen coming up with our own gourmet meals by experimentation. I also enjoy dancing and having a good time with family and friends, and love to travel as much as possible. I have been to a few cool places, but still have a LOT more to go. I have pretty much hit the whole casino circuit in the US, but I have never been on a cruise. It is on my agenda in the near future, though.
I pretty much like anything to do with the outdoors, including hunting and fishing. I've been hunting since I was 12, so it just seems natural for a girl to enjoy guns and the thrill of the hunt! I like to go to the shooting range (good stress reliever!!), and play pool and darts. Staying indoors doesn't bother me much either, especially when it's raining.....I love the smell of rain.
I love motorcycles and fast cars, whether it's driving them, building them, or restoring them. There is a certain satisfaction in building or restoring a classic automobile and knowing YOUR hard work went into making it beautiful again! Of course, NASCAR is right up there with all time favorites.
I also like acting, modeling and actually was in a movie that will be in theaters February 2008, called "The Signal". I have also been in several commercials, a Sugarland video (Settlin') and in a magazine spread with my 2004 corvette.
I like learning about my heritage (Indian and English), love the mystical and fantasy (fairies, wizards, etc.), angels, dolphins, lighthouses and intrigued with astrology, numerology, feng shui, oracles, tarot reading and the paranormal. I think there is a lot to be learned from the unknown forces in life and the past.
