About Me

Triple Villon was born and raised on the wicked streets of Cleveland, Oh. Following the early passing of his father he lived a very turbulent youth, often finding himself in group homes and juvenile detention centers where he spent a significant three years of his life. When asked about it, his simple answer is, "I haven't gone through anything millions of other people haven't gone through." As a black male in America unfortunatly we go through alot of the same trials and tribulations, no matter what hood or city you're from. It's not what we go through; It's what we learn from the experience, how we interpret these situations is what makes us who we are. Known to his friends and admirers as just Trip, his first introduction to rap music was through Bone Thugs-n-Harmoney. At the young age of thirteen, impressively he began rhyming lyrics that they had written. Upon their suggestion that he write his own rhymes, he began to experiment with different styles. He gained more experience and respect participating in neighborhood battles and talent shows. Instead of turning to gangs and violence to vent his frustrations in his world, he turned to boxing and Hip-Hop. Now 25 Trip has had the chance to develop and perfect his craft, which is without a doubt, indefinable. When asked about his style and his inspiration, he answerd, " I dont have a signature style, but when you hear me, you know it's me. I'm very versatile; I let the music take me whereit wants to go. I'm not afraid to be innovative and creative; my music is raw honest and straight to the point. I rap wit conviction." My inspirations come from my experiences, my environment the things I seen coming up and the things I see everyday. Just like the news there's always somthing to report.
