Enigma Poets

We, Absolute (the little one)-Kontext (the cuddly one)-Thee Alias (the young one)-HB (the weird one), are EnIgMa PoEtS. We are not deep, except by accident. We love most art but hate most artist (including ourselves at times). We will never get rich from poetry, we understand that. So we have no financial incentive to front, lie, etc. However, the young one is willing to render sexual favors on behave of the group for a slot in most shows-what a team player! We are from the Westside of Chicago so we tend to do everything like we're gang banging. People usually appreciate our intense loyalty and hood enthusiasm, but it has gotten us into trouble at places like church (JESUS FOOL!!), college (GIMMIE 'DEM BOOKS BITCH!), and formal dinner events (BEEF? HELL N'AWL! I EAT CHICKEN, GOD DAMNIT). But through all of that- here we are. We have been friends, off and on, since 2nd grade. We remain friends so that the others never tell all of the dirt we have found out about eachother over the years. Keep your friends close and your enemies closer and there is no group closer than ours. Even as I write this I realize how much I hate these guys. We have disappointed audiences all over the country. We are living the asshole version of Dr. King's dream. We have pissed off white men and black men, Jews and Gentiles, Protestants and Catholics, from north to south, east to west. Check us out and once you get to know us I'm sure you will hate us to. Dying to get on your nerves, EnIgMa PoEtS PS-When your serious-be serious and productive. Any other time, be a jerk.
