I'm Lisa from Middletown, NY. I think I'll give this another shot before going straight to Myspace Hell. Anyway, I'm a funny girl who loves sarcasm..I can dish it and take it!! Humor is the key to a happy and healthy life full of suprises, excitement, a bit of mayhem, and much more. I love to keep others on their toes. I like to keep myself busy for the most part. My whole theory on being busy is that if your busy, you don't have time to focus on how fast or slow time is going by, therefore enjoying your time for what it's worth instead of evaluating it every hour. I sometimes can be a walking contradiction, but I think most people are. I'll say I dislike crazy drivers, and then start cursing at someone like a maniac as they cut me off in the Target parking lot. I am currently a graduate student at Marist College and will soon have a Masters Degree in Mental Health Counseling...watch out world. I can't wait for school to be over. After almost 7 yrs in college, I definitely need a break. I am thankful that I have had the opportunity to experience an education and will value my experience. I live alone, which can sometimes be lonely, but for the most part is peaceful. When I was at home, I have to say, I had it pretty good. I didn't have too many restrictions and I had free laundry service. I wanted to move forward and gain yet another experience in my life. I'm very independent and I like to get things done in order to relieve myself of any ongoing life stressors. I'm constantly thinking about what I have to do and how I'm going to do it. I put things in order in my mind and work through my mental notes as much as possible. I like meeting new people and trying new things (most of the time). I have found that there are a lot of people out there who are genuinely sincere individuals and then there are the real winners aka assholes. Another philosophy that I truly live by is everything happens for a reason. You may not not know what that reason is right then and there, but eventually it will come. Sometimes I fear getting old and not knowing what my future will be. I am always trying to figure things out before they actually happen. This of course never works because I have usually thought about it on too many levels and I end up going too far with it. I believe judgement is harsh and no one should judge you or force their beliefs on you. I have often judged people to later on feel like a complete idiot because I was completely wrong. I don't like when others judge me or assume they know about me, so I shouldn't do the same to others. I think relationships are extremely exhausting at times and I'm referring to all types of relationships. I find myself not having the ability to keep up with everyone and everything. I'm one of those people that either feels overwhelmed and stressed out or completely bored and stressless. I knocked myspace for awhile and ended up getting sucked into it anyway. If you can't beat em', join em', right?...so, let's try this one more time, since it didn't work the first time.
